Korea International Trade Association (Chairman: Christopher Koo) invited H
Mart merchandisers from the U.S. and hosted business meeting sessions from August
31 to September 2 at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul to provide consultations to
companies interested in expanding their business operations overseas.
Mart is the largest distributor of Asian products in the U.S. with more than
100 stores throughout the United States, including Los Angeles and New Jersey
area. After being designated as professional trading firm in 2021, H Mart is
contributing to exports of outstanding Korean-made products by taking advantage
of its vast overseas distribution network.
meeting sessions were attended by 49 prominent Korean companies producing
consumer goods, including beverage, food, daily appliances and kitchen
appliances. Participants from these companies had meetings with four H Mart merchandisers,
each of whom representing a specific field, to evaluate the feasibility of
selling their items in the U.S. and acquire information on the requirements of being
a H Mart partner.
