The Korea International Trade Association (Chairman: Christopher Koo) hosted a business luncheon between representatives of trading companies and Philip Goldberg, the new U.S. ambassador to Korea on August 8 at COEX Intercontinental in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Chairman Koo mentioned, "This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Korea - U.S. FTA going into effect" and added, "I am optimistic that the already-strong bilateral ties will be enhanced with stronger economic, security and technology alliance." Today's event was attended by representatives and officials from Korean companies that engage in business with the United States by exporting products and making investments, including Hyundai Motors, SeAH Steels, OCI, CJ ENM, Dongwon Group, Meta Biomed, Exiqon, Jusung Engineering, YG-1 and Iljin Group.
