Korea International Trade
Association (Chairman: Christopher Koo) and Ulsan National Institute of Science
and Technology (UNIST, President: Yong-hoon Lee) co-hosted a “Technology Consulting
Session” on November 24th at UNIST.
This Technology Consulting Session was held as
a hybrid event to accommodate applications from companies located in all parts
of the nation, and a total of seven companies specializing in energy, bio
industry, aerospace and material sectors participated. UNIST brought its
world-class researchers to the event and provided tailored consulting for each
company. Companies received feedbacks on the obstacles of their technology
development process and possible ways to resolve these obstacles.
Technology Consulting Session is a project led
by KITA in collaboration with universities boasting world-class researchers,
including Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Korea Advanced
Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and UNIST. It aims to support
exports of SMEs by providing comprehensive support on technology development.
As the Pandemic is being an obstacle for our
companies to expand business operations overseas, this Consulting Session is
expected to provide substantial contribution for building up R&D potential
of our companies and forging business partnerships buttressed by excellent
research results owned by UNIST and industry-academia partnership with UNIST.
