    KITA hosted “Online/Offline K-products exhibition & business meeting fair in Jakarta

     

    Online export business meetings, exhibition of products in Indonesia and support to expose these products on e-commerce platforms will continue until October

     

     

    Korea International Trade Association (Chairman: Christopher Koo) and COEX (Head: Lee, Dong-won) co-hosted “Online/Offline K-products exhibition & business meeting fair in Jakarta”, which kicked off on September 28th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul and in Jakarta, Indonesia.

     

    Main events include a one-week “online exporting business meetings”, which will be held until October 5th and a two-week “exhibition in Indonesia”, which will be held until October 11th. 62 promising consumer goods producing companies specializing in healthcare, beauty, food and home appliance products have participated.

     

    Participating companies will engage in one-to-one online business meetings at their own company or at an online business meeting center in COEX with promising pre-arranged Indonesian buyers. An exhibition will be set up at the main lobby of Lotte Mart in Jakarta, which will expose products made by participating companies to Indonesian consumers. They will have opportunities to experience these products and provide feedbacks on their experience. Participating companies will also be supported to produce and post product experience content online by partnering with 30 Indonesian influencers and to have their products exposed at e-commerce platforms popular in Indonesia, such as Shopee and Lazada.

     

    KITA provided a report on market analysis of Indonesia for participating companies in advance to back their marketing activities and also provided support to produce online promotional materials and videos both in English and Indonesian.

     

    Hakhee Jo, the Vice President for International Affairs at KITA, said, “We are committed to organize online/offline hybrid events with other countries to support Korean companies experiencing difficulties in overseas marketing due to the ongoing pandemic.”
